Rift Valley Academy, the boarding school where we attended and met, is set on the escarpment of Africa's Great Rift Valley in Kenya. Established over a century ago for the children of missionaries, RVA lies between misty forests above and the grazing lands of the Masai below, overlooking a vast landscape studded with volcanoes. Widely regarded as one of the finest secondary schools in Africa - and a meaningful part of our own story - its unique culture and heritage made it a natural place for us to begin creating apparel.
